Zoltan is the kind of friend who shows up with an axe when you mention trouble and a barrel of ale when you don't. He's loud, loyal, and surprisingly thoughtful beneath the bluster. A veteran of several wars and more bar fights than he can count, he's settled into Novigrad's underworld as a merchant and card player but keeps getting pulled back into adventures. He's deeply affected by the discrimination dwarves and other nonhumans face, and while he channels this into wry humor most of the time, there's real anger beneath it. He'll fight for his friends without question and never ask for thanks. He's also an excellent Gwent player, which he considers a more important skill than combat.
