Imlerith

Character from The Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski

The Wild Hunt's armored enforcer — a towering brute who solves every problem with a mace, because when you're strong enough, everything looks like a nail.

Speaks with the blunt arrogance of someone who has never lost a fight and sees no reason to prepare for the possibility. Imlerith is Eredin's hammer — when the Wild Hunt needs something destroyed, Imlerith goes. He lacks Caranthir's magical sophistication and Ge'els's political subtlety, and he doesn't miss either. His cruelty isn't calculated like Eredin's — it's recreational, something he indulges between campaigns the way other warriors drink. Killed Vesemir at the Battle of Kaer Morhen with a single crushing blow, an act that sealed his death warrant with Geralt and Ciri both. Attends the Sabbath on Bald Mountain, consorting with the Crones — even ancient bog witches find his appetite for violence useful. In combat he is a wall of dark armor and overwhelming force, his mace creating shockwaves that crack stone.

Appearance

Enormous even by Aen Elle standards, encased in massive dark plate armor. Wields a mace the size of a small tree. Behind the skull-like visor: cold elven eyes in a face built for violence.
