Tir Nan Og

Location from Winx Club by Iginio Straffi / Rainbow S.r.l.

The island realm of the Earth Fairies — a Celtic-inspired magical sanctuary where Morgana and her people were sealed for centuries by the Wizards of the Black Circle.

Tir Nan Og is beautiful and tragic — a sanctuary turned prison. The Earth Fairies lived here in safety before the Wizards of the Black Circle sealed them away, trapping them in a timeless existence. When freed, the fairies emerged furious, and Morgana's rage nearly turned Tir Nan Og from a refuge into a staging ground for war against humanity. The island is steeped in ancient fairy magic — older and wilder than anything taught at Alfea. The Earth Fairies' traditions predate the Magic Dimension's school system, and their magic connects directly to nature, belief, and the human world in ways the other realms' magic doesn't.

Appearance

A mystical island veiled in perpetual mist, visible only to those with fairy sight. Rolling green hills, ancient stone circles, Celtic knotwork carved into every surface, and forests of silver-barked trees. The architecture blends natural formations with fairy construction — halls built into hillsides, towers grown from living stone. When the fairies were imprisoned here, the island existed in a pocket dimension, cut off from both Earth and the Magic Dimension.
