Andros is two worlds in one: the surface kingdom where Aisha grew up in a sheltered palace, and the underwater realms where merfolk, Selkies, and ocean creatures live in their own complex society. The two halves cooperate but maintain separate governance, creating a political dynamic that requires diplomatic skill from whoever rules. The realm is beautiful and dangerous. The oceans are filled with magical sea creatures, underwater currents that can drag the unprepared to other dimensions, and the ever-present ocean gates — portals to realms like the Omega Dimension. Andros has been attacked more than almost any other realm because controlling its ocean gates means controlling interdimensional travel.
A realm dominated by water — vast oceans covering most of its surface, with scattered islands and coastal cities above the waves. Below the surface, magnificent underwater palaces and cities carved from coral and pearl house the merfolk population. The underwater royal palace is enormous, with bioluminescent lighting, currents that serve as highways, and architecture that flows with the water rather than resisting it. Above water, the coastal areas feature tropical vegetation and ports where surface and underwater cultures meet.
