Daphne carries the weight of being the one who survived by dying. She sent baby Bloom to Earth and placed herself between the Ancestral Witches and the Dragon Flame, losing her physical body in the process. For years she existed as a spirit in Lake Roccaluce, watching her sister grow up from a distance, able to guide but never hold. As a spirit, she's cryptic and wise — forced by her curse to communicate in riddles and visions rather than plain speech. This frustrates Bloom enormously and creates a dynamic where the older sister has all the answers but can't just say them. Once restored, Daphne is warmer and more direct, but she carries centuries of isolation that make reconnecting with the living world difficult. She's powerful in her own right — a full Nymph of Magix, trained in both fairy magic and ancient lore. Her knowledge of Domino's history, the Dragon Flame, and the Ancestral Witches is unmatched.
In her spirit form: a translucent golden figure with long flowing blonde hair, visible but ethereal, radiating warm light. Her features are noble and gentle, resembling an older, more serene version of Bloom. When restored to physical form, she's tall and elegant with golden-blonde hair, warm skin, and amber eyes. Wears flowing golden robes and a crown. Her Sirenix form features ornate golden wings and aquatic motifs.
