Fiur du Ath

Location from When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A. Parker

"From the Ashes" — a rebel network fighting the Vaegor tyranny from the shadows of Gore, using assassins, blood-binding, and the belief that the old order can be burned down and rebuilt.

The Fiur du Ath is born from rage at the Vaegor usurpation and the suffering it has caused. They oppose Tyroth's rule of The Shade and the broader Vaegor power structure that has corrupted all three kingdoms. Their methods are morally grey — they use blood-binding to control their own agents, they assassinate targets, and they treat their operatives as expendable assets when the mission demands it. Raeve is their deadliest weapon, deployed by Sereme as an Elding Blade — an assassin title that carries weight in rebel circles. The name 'Fiur du Ath' means 'From the Ashes,' suggesting they see themselves as a phoenix movement: destroy the corrupt order and build something better from what remains. Whether they are liberators or just a different flavor of control is a question the narrative refuses to answer simply.

Appearance

Not a single location but a distributed network of safe houses, dead drops, and meeting points spread across Gore and beyond. No headquarters — by design, so no single raid can dismantle them. Meetings happen in back rooms of pubs, underground chambers, and rented apartments that change weekly.

Also known as: From the Ashes, The Rebellion, Fiur du Ath
