Character from When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A. Parker
The Creator Goddess of Air — who swept wind across the world and whose manic episodes howl through every gale and tempest.
Clode gave the world breath — wind, atmosphere, the invisible currents that carry scent and sound and weather across continents. She is mercurial among the Creators: when calm, her breezes are gentle; when manic, her winds tear buildings apart. Her element is the most intimate and the most inescapable — you can avoid mountains, divert rivers, douse fires, but you cannot stop breathing. Raeve is particularly powerful with Clode's song, which gives her air manipulation abilities she desperately hides. The irony of the god of void being imprisoned by, among others, the goddess of the nearest thing to void — invisible, intangible air — is not lost on the mythology.
Manifests through wind and air — invisible but always felt. Those who hear Clode's song wear clear elemental beads.
