Tower of Ghenjei

Location from The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan

A smooth metal tower on the plains of Andor — the gateway to the realm of the Aelfinn and Eelfinn, where Mat rescued Moiraine at the cost of Noal's life.

The Tower of Ghenjei leads to the Finn realm — the dimension where the Aelfinn (who answer questions) and Eelfinn (who grant wishes) live. Mat entered with Thom and Noal to rescue Moiraine from the Finn who had held her since she fell through the doorway ter'angreal with Lanfear. Noal sacrificed himself to buy their escape.

Appearance

A featureless tower of burnished silver metal rising from flat grassland. No doors, no windows, no seams — perfectly smooth. It can only be entered by tracing specific symbols on its surface. Inside, the corridors twist according to rules that humans can't intuit.
