Salidar

Location from The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan

The rebel Aes Sedai's base — a small village where half the Tower gathered after Elaida's coup and raised Egwene as their Amyrlin.

Salidar was chosen as the rebel base because it was small, remote, and connected to the Blue Ajah's intelligence network. The rebels raised Egwene as their puppet Amyrlin — intending to control her through the Hall — and discovered too late that they'd chosen someone who couldn't be puppeted.

Appearance

A tiny, unremarkable village in Altara that suddenly became the most politically significant settlement in the Westlands when rebel Aes Sedai made it their headquarters. Tents and temporary structures expanded the village beyond recognition.
