The Asha'man's training facility — built to mirror the White Tower for male channelers, corrupted from within by Taim, and rescued by Logain and Androl.
Rand created the Black Tower to train male channelers — Asha'man — for the Last Battle. He appointed Taim to run it and didn't check back often enough. Taim corrupted the institution from within, turning Asha'man to the Shadow through Compulsion and 13x13 turning. Logain, Androl, and Pevara led the internal resistance that saved the institution.
A fortified compound near Caemlyn — not a tower at all, but a walled campus of barracks, training grounds, and administrative buildings. It was built quickly and practically, without the White Tower's grandeur. The walls are warded against channeling attacks.
