A false Dragon turned Asha'man leader — given command of the Black Tower by Rand and revealed as a Darkfriend who corrupted it from within as the M'Hael.

Taim declared himself the Dragon Reborn before Rand did, was captured, and escaped under mysterious circumstances. Rand gave him command of the Black Tower to train male channelers — a decision that proved catastrophic. Taim used the position to turn Asha'man to the Shadow through a combination of Compulsion, 13x13 turning, and old-fashioned intimidation. As the M'Hael, he led the Dreadlords at the Last Battle. He was killed by Egwene's forces, but the damage he did to the Black Tower took years to repair.

Appearance

Dark-haired and hook-nosed with a commanding presence and cruel eyes. He wears the black coat of the Asha'man with the dragon pin and sword pin of the highest rank. His expressions carry a barely concealed contempt for everyone around him.
