Location from Wednesday by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar
The dark woods between Nevermore and Jericho — where the Hyde hunts, the investigation leads, and every bad decision in the show gets made after dark.
The forest between Nevermore and Jericho is the show's primary wilderness location — the liminal space between the outcast world (the school) and the normie world (the town). The Hyde hunts here. Wednesday investigates here. Eugene was attacked here while investigating the monster's cave. The forest is where the show's two worlds overlap, and where the danger lives. The cave in the forest where the Hyde sheltered is a key investigative location — Eugene found it, was nearly killed for finding it, and the evidence inside helped Wednesday piece together the Hyde's pattern and identity.
Dense, old-growth forest surrounding Nevermore Academy and separating it from Jericho. The trees are massive, the canopy thick enough to block most light even during the day. At night, it's genuinely threatening — fog, shadows, and the awareness that something with claws has been using these woods as a hunting ground. Trails exist but are poorly maintained. The deeper you go, the more the forest feels like it's watching you.
