Pugsley Addams

Character from Wednesday by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar

Wednesday's younger brother — chubby, cheerful, and the target of her protective violence, which is how Addams siblings say 'I love you.'

Pugsley exists in the show primarily as the catalyst for Wednesday's expulsion from her previous school: normie bullies put piranhas in the pool where he was swimming, and Wednesday responded by... also putting piranhas in the pool, but aimed at the bullies. This act of protective violence — disproportionate, creative, and motivated by family loyalty she'd never express verbally — is the purest expression of who Wednesday is. He loves his sister, is slightly terrified of his sister, and doesn't see these as contradictory positions. In the Addams family, fear and love coexist comfortably.

Appearance

Round-faced and stocky with dark hair and wide, innocent eyes. Wears striped shirts. Has the look of a kid who gets beaten up a lot and doesn't mind as much as he should — partly because in the Addams household, physical torment is a love language.
