Character from Wednesday by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar
Wednesday's uncle — bald, electrified, on the run from something, and the family member most likely to show up unannounced with exactly the help you didn't know you needed.
Fester arrives at Nevermore mid-season like a plot device that happens to be related to you. He's on the run (details vague, probably warranted), has electrical abilities that he uses casually, and immediately becomes Wednesday's ally in her investigation because he's the one family member who doesn't try to protect her from danger — he helps her run toward it. His electrical abilities save Thing's life after the stabbing — a moment that cements Fester as both comic relief and genuinely important. He's the Addams family member who most understands Wednesday's need for independence because he's the one who most embodies it: he goes where he wants, does what he wants, and doesn't explain himself.
Bald, pale, round-faced with dark circles under his eyes that look like they come from either insomnia or electrocution (both, probably). Heavyset with a warm, slightly manic energy. Wears a long dark coat. His most distinctive physical feature: he can generate and conduct electricity, which occasionally manifests as visible sparks or the ability to power devices by holding them.
