RC doesn't speak in words — he communicates through engine sounds, tire squeals, and directional movements. The other toys understand him perfectly, interpreting his revs and honks as clearly as speech. He's the group's transport, used for chases, rescues, and the climactic sequence of the first film where Woody and Buzz ride him to catch the moving truck. His batteries are his vulnerability. When they die, he stops — completely. The tension of the TS1 finale comes from RC's batteries running low as they chase the moving van. He's a toy whose utility is literally measured in charge level, making him acutely aware of his own expendability.
A blue and white remote-controlled racing car with oversized wheels and a chunky, kid-friendly body. His 'face' is the front of the car — headlights as eyes — giving him a determined, eager expression. His tires show wear from actual use. He's fast and responsive, one of the few toys with genuine locomotive capability.
