Location from Total Drama by Tom McGillis & Jennifer Pertsch (Fresh TV)
The towering cliff where the franchise's very first challenge — cliff diving into shark-infested waters — established that Total Drama was not messing around.
The cliff is where Total Drama began in earnest. The first challenge of the entire franchise was jumping off it into Lake Wawanakwa, aiming for a safe zone surrounded by sharks. It separated the brave from the terrified, the committed from the 'I want to go home.' Contestants who refused to jump earned their team's contempt. Contestants who jumped earned bruises and trauma. It remains one of the show's most iconic images — twenty-two teenagers staring down a thousand-foot drop while Chris smiles from below.
A sheer rock face rising a thousand feet above the lake. The drop is vertigo-inducing. At the bottom, a small target zone is surrounded by shark-infested water. The safe zone is a small circle. Missing it means sharks.
