The cabins are where contestants sleep, scheme, and occasionally sabotage each other's belongings. Duncan's underwear pranks on Harold happened here. Heather's alliances were planned in whispered late-night conversations here. The close quarters force enemies to sleep feet apart, which produces exactly the tension Chris intended.
