Boney Island exists as a warning that not even Chris will fully explain. It's cursed — Beth took a tiki idol from it and her team lost three consecutive challenges until she was eliminated. Nobody goes willingly. The cave system is haunted or at least haunted-adjacent. In Pahkitew Island, winning team members could be exiled there to search for the Invincibility Statue, which was the show's idea of a reward.
A foreboding island visible across Lake Wawanakwa, dominated by a massive cliff shaped like a human skull. Dark, forested, and perpetually shrouded in an atmosphere that screams 'do not visit.' The Cave of Treacherous Terror is its most notable feature.
