He considers caring about others a sign of masculine weakness. Then he falls for Axel in the 2024 season and his entire worldview collapses. His vulnerability around her — going against his 'caring is weak' philosophy — produces the reboot's most surprising character development. He shares his first kiss with her after persistent effort, proving that even the franchise's grossest characters can grow.
