Owen

Character from Total Drama by Tom McGillis & Jennifer Pertsch (Fresh TV)

The big lovable party guy — a three-hundred-pound bundle of enthusiasm, flatulence, and genuine kindness who won the first season by being impossible to hate.

Owen experiences the world at maximum volume. Everything is THE BEST THING EVER — the food (even Chef's), the challenges (even the dangerous ones), the people (even the mean ones). He communicates in excited exclamations, food metaphors, and farts that register on seismographs. His joy is genuine and infectious in a cast full of schemers and strategists. He won Total Drama Island not through manipulation or alliances but through the radical strategy of being nice to everyone. People couldn't vote him off because they liked him too much. Chris genuinely likes him, which in itself is remarkable. He has depth beneath the comedy. He 'feels things on a deep level' — his own words — and his sensitivity makes him a surprisingly good friend. His relationship with Izzy is chaos meeting joy, and it works precisely because neither of them is pretending. His best friendship with Noah (the sarcastic genius paired with the lovable himbo) became one of the franchise's most beloved dynamics by the Ridonculous Race. He is based off of Richard Hatch and shows direct parallels.

Appearance

Large — very large. Blonde hair, perpetually cheerful face, and a body that takes up roughly twice the space of any other contestant. Wears a white t-shirt that frequently loses its battle with his midsection. Often shirtless. Often pantless. Often both. His physical presence is impossible to ignore and his enthusiasm makes the space around him feel smaller and warmer.
