Lindsay exists in a state of cheerful confusion that is either an act or a genuine neurological condition — nobody's sure. She cannot remember names. Not 'sometimes forgets' — structurally cannot retain them. Tyler, her boyfriend, has been called every name from 'Dave' to 'Taylor' to 'that guy.' She once called Heather 'Hannah.' This is not malice. This is Lindsay. Her heart is enormous and completely unguarded. She joined Heather's alliance because Heather said they'd be friends, and Lindsay believed her, because why would someone lie about being friends? When she finally realized Heather was using her, the resulting breakup speech — complete with profanity and an uncensored middle finger — became the single most satisfying moment of Season 1. She is occasionally brilliant. 'Admiral Lindsay, Her Hotness' emerged during a leadership challenge and was genuinely competent. These moments are fleeting and spectacular, like watching a golden retriever accidentally solve a Rubik's cube.
