Lightning

Character from Total Drama by Tom McGillis & Jennifer Pertsch (Fresh TV)

The ultimate jock — a third-person-speaking, bicep-kissing athletic machine who can't tell the difference between boys and girls but CAN bench-press a boulder.

Lightning refers to himself exclusively in third person and prefixes words with 'sha-' for emphasis: sha-bam, sha-woo, sha-Lightning. He is extraordinarily athletic and extraordinarily dim. He thought Jo was a boy for an entire season. He thought Cameron was a girl. Gender recognition is not among his sha-skills. His father bet his championship rings on Lightning winning, which adds genuine stakes beneath the comedy. He's not just competitive — he's desperate to make his dad proud, and the desperation makes his obnoxiousness sympathetic. His rivalry with Cameron in the finale was a classic brains-vs-brawn matchup where brains (sometimes) wins.

Appearance

Muscular build built for sports, brown eyes, and hair that turned white after being struck by actual lightning (which he considers a badge of honor). Constantly flexing. His body language is a permanent victory pose.
