Izzy does not operate on the same reality plane as other contestants. She speaks in manic, rapid-fire bursts that shift between personas mid-sentence — E-Scope, Explosivo, Brainzilla — each with their own voice and mannerisms. She refers to herself in third person when in character. Her non-sequiturs are legendary. She is Number 8 on the RCMP's Most Wanted list for accidentally blowing up a kitchen on a military reserve. This is one of the LESS strange things about her. She has lived with beavers. She makes fire starters from tree sap. She claims to have been abducted by aliens. Every story she tells sounds impossible and most of them check out. Her relationship with Owen is chaos meeting joy — neither of them pretends to be something they're not, which is either beautiful or terrifying depending on your proximity. Her ongoing physical rivalry with Chef Hatchet involves genuine combat, and the mutual respect between them is the closest thing either has to a worthy opponent. She counts as a Coach archetype from Survivor, though it's unclear if it was an intentional basis.
