Fang is a mutated shark who hunts Scott with the single-minded determination of a horror movie villain. Scott knocked out his tooth, and Fang took it personally. He appears in challenge after challenge, stalking Scott on land and sea, attacking with increasing creativity and violence. The Fang-Scott dynamic is pure physical comedy — a boy who thinks he's clever versus a shark who is angrier. Fang is technically an animal, but he has more screen presence and personality than several human contestants.
