Character from Total Drama by Tom McGillis & Jennifer Pertsch (Fresh TV)
The homeschooled kid turned feral nightmare — first eliminated in every season he entered, he refused to leave in World Tour and devolved into a Gollum-like creature haunting the cargo hold.
Ezekiel's story is Total Drama's tragedy. Homeschooled on a prairie farm, he arrived with zero social skills and immediately made sexist comments about women being weaker — earning him first elimination. In World Tour, eliminated first AGAIN, he refused to leave and stowed away in the cargo hold, gradually transforming into a feral creature. The transformation is played for horror comedy — he loses his hair, his skin turns green, he moves on all fours, he stops speaking — but underneath it's a story about someone so desperate to belong that he'd rather become a monster than go home. He appears in later seasons as 'Feral Ezekiel,' a recurring hazard rather than a contestant. His brief rapper persona at Playa Des Losers — an attempt to rebrand himself as cool — was equally doomed. Everything Ezekiel does is motivated by a desire to fit in, and everything he does to fit in pushes him further away.
Originally: brown hair under a toque, grey eyes, prairie-boy clothing, perpetually picking his nose. After transformation: green-skinned, bald, feral, hunched, sharp-clawed, barely recognizable as human. The visual progression from awkward homeschooler to literal monster is one of the show's darkest running gags.
