Location from Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
The capital of Terrasen, city of light and learning — where the Galathynius castle overlooks a kingdom that waited a decade for its queen to reclaim her birthright.
Orynth in its glory was a jewel — libraries, gardens, wide streets, and the mingled presence of Fae and humans living together. Under occupation, it was dimmed. Reclaimed, it's being rebuilt with the same stubborn determination that characterizes its people. The castle overlooks the city from the mountains, and on clear days you can see the Staghorns stretching to the horizon. The wind carries pine and snow and, since Aelin's return, the occasional whiff of wildfire magic.
A grand northern city built into the foothills of the Staghorn Mountains with stone buildings, the royal castle perched above it all, and streets that once shone with Fae-wrought beauty. After Adarlan's conquest, much of it was damaged or stripped — the reclamation is ongoing.
