Omid

Character from The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman (comics), Frank Darabont (TV), Telltale Games

Christa's partner and the group's brightest spirit — a jokester who kept morale alive with humor and died senselessly at the start of Season 2, proving the apocalypse doesn't care about your personality.

Omid is the Telltale series' warmest character and one of its quickest losses. He and Christa join Lee's group at the train and immediately become the most likeable couple in the apocalypse — his humor balances her pragmatism, and together they represent what a functional relationship looks like amid chaos. His death in Season 2's opening — shot by a teenage scavenger in a bathroom — is deliberately anticlimactic. No heroic last stand. No meaningful sacrifice. Just a stupid, random death that could have been prevented, which is exactly the kind of death the Walking Dead specializes in.

Appearance

Short and slight with olive skin, dark hair, and a warm, mischievous smile that rarely leaves his face. He has an injured leg from a fall at the train bridge but moves with surprising energy despite the limp. His eyes are bright and constantly amused.
