Carley

Character from The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman (comics), Frank Darabont (TV), Telltale Games

A news reporter who kept Lee's secret and kept her gun ready — loyal, sharp, and pragmatic in a group that desperately needed all three.

Carley is the first person in Lee's group to learn about his murder conviction, and she keeps the secret because she judges people by their actions, not their records. This pragmatic decency makes her one of Lee's most trusted allies and a stabilizing presence in the group. She's a skilled marksman — the group's best shot — and she speaks her mind with the directness of a journalist who's used to asking uncomfortable questions. She can't figure out batteries (a running joke), but she can drop a walker at fifty yards without blinking. Her death at Lily's hands is the first truly shocking player-cannot-prevent death in the series — proof that good people die for no reason and that trust within the group can be as lethal as the threats outside.

Appearance

Average height with short brown hair, alert dark eyes, and the composed bearing of someone used to performing under pressure. She wears practical civilian clothing and carries a Glock with confident, trained handling. Her expression is watchful and intelligent.
