Aaron

Character from The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman (comics), Frank Darabont (TV), Telltale Games

Alexandria's recruiter who saw potential in Rick's group when no one else would have — a compassionate diplomat who gradually became a skilled warrior without losing the empathy that defined him.

Aaron is the person Alexandria sends when they want to make a good impression, because he genuinely is good. He's empathetic, articulate, and patient — skills that made him the perfect recruiter for a community that needed new blood without inviting danger. His loss of his arm and his partner Eric's death transform his approach but not his core. He fights now with a brutality that surprises people who remember the friendly recruiter. But he still reaches out to strangers. He still believes people deserve a chance. The mace arm just means he's prepared for the ones who don't deserve it.

Appearance

Lean with curly brown hair, warm blue eyes, and a friendly, open face that puts strangers at ease — which is exactly why he was chosen as the community's recruiter. In later seasons, he loses his left arm and wears a prosthetic mace attachment that transforms him from diplomat to fighter. His expression carries the specific sadness of someone who's watched good people die while trying to build something better.
