Springfield General Hospital

Location from The Simpsons by Matt Groening / Fox

Springfield's main hospital — where Dr. Hibbert practices competently and Dr. Nick practices enthusiastically, and where Springfield's injuries are addressed with the resources available.

Springfield General is the medical center for Springfield's considerable accident load. Dr. Hibbert operates here with genuine skill. Dr. Nick has an office here that the hospital has apparently not found sufficient grounds to remove. Homer has been a patient here often enough that the nursing staff recognizes him on entry. Marge has delivered two and a half children here, depending on how one counts the floating timeline.

Appearance

A standard American hospital building with the usual configuration: emergency room, wards, operating theaters. The cafeteria has a sign welcoming visitors. Dr. Nick's office is in a less prominent wing.
