The Android's Dungeon is Springfield's nerd headquarters — the place where Bart and Milhouse spend allowance money, where collectors come for first editions, and where Comic Book Guy dispenses opinions no one requested. It has a card game section, back issues, and the specific economics of a shop whose owner prices things based on what he personally believes they are worth, which is more than most people will pay. It is, on some level, the most honest place in Springfield. The proprietor has exactly the life he chose.

Appearance

A small, cluttered shop with floor-to-ceiling comic book racks, glass cases for collectibles, and the smell of old paper and plastic bags. The fluorescent lighting is optimal for reading, not for mood. Comic Book Guy presides behind the counter with the authority of a man in his natural environment.
