Ned's youngest son — impressionable, sheltered, and the most unsettled by the gap between Springfield's world and his father's worldview.

Todd is younger than Rod and less settled in his faith. He follows Rod's lead and his father's guidance, but he absorbs things differently — more reactive, more surprised by the world outside the Flanders house. He occasionally says things that suggest Ned's household is not quite the sealed environment Ned believes it to be. He has seen a dead cat. He was upset about it in ways that took a while to resolve. He is a child navigating a father who is very good and a world that is not.
