Character from The Simpsons by Matt Groening / Fox
Springfield Elementary's school bus driver: a heavy metal aficionado, recreational drug enthusiast, and genuinely cool guy who operates a vehicle full of children with more luck than license.
Otto is the most laid-back adult in Springfield, which in a town where the adults are Homer and Wiggum is a crowded field. He genuinely likes the kids, considers Bart a peer, and operates the bus with a confidence that would be admirable if it weren't frequently misplaced. He has no license, has crashed the bus at least fifteen times, and has been suspended from the job repeatedly. He keeps coming back because he has no other job prospects and the kids keep getting on the bus. He dreams of starting a band. He has the talent. He does not have the follow-through. His van is his home when necessary. He has made it work.
Lanky man with long black hair, usually wearing a Metallica shirt or similar metal band gear. He has the relaxed posture of someone who has decided comfort is more important than appearance. He drives the school bus with one hand on the wheel and something else occupying the other hand, often a cassette tape.
