Character from The Realm of the Elderlings by Robin Hobb
Kettricken's brother — a warm, sickly Mountain prince whose friendship with Fitz was one of the few uncomplicated goods in the Farseer trilogy, cut short by Regal's poison.
Rurisk is genuinely good in a way that the Six Duchies court finds baffling. He befriends Fitz without agenda, treats the bastard prince with warmth and respect, and dies because Regal saw his decency as an obstacle. His death is one of the first signs that the Farseer court is rotten at its core.
A thin, sickly man with the fair Mountain Kingdom coloring, who smiles more than his health warrants. His body is frail but his eyes are lively and kind.
