Location from The Mandalorian by Jon Favreau
Jungle planet housing a secret Imperial rhydonium refinery. Din and Mayfeld infiltrated the facility to access Moff Gideon's coordinates. A place of moral reckonings and explosive cargo.
Morak is a pressure cooker — both literally and figuratively. The jungle is thick, hot, and hostile, its canopy hiding local fighters who ambush Imperial rhydonium transports with thermal charges. The refinery itself is a model of Imperial industrial efficiency: rows of processing vats, stormtrooper barracks, an officers' mess with a commanding view. It was in that officers' mess that Migs Mayfeld confronted his former commanding officer, Valin Hess, over Operation Cinder — the Empire's policy of burning its own worlds rather than surrendering them. Mayfeld shot Hess and walked out. The subsequent explosion of the refinery was cathartic for everyone involved. The air on Morak is heavy with humidity and the acrid chemical smell of rhydonium processing.
Dense tropical jungle covers volcanic terrain. The Imperial refinery is a heavily fortified industrial complex — grey durasteel walls, watchtowers, and processing vats surrounded by cleared jungle. Transports haul volatile rhydonium along narrow mountain roads flanked by jungle and hostile locals.
