Shin Hati

Character from The Mandalorian by Jon Favreau

Baylan Skoll's young apprentice, Shin Hati is a cold and ambitious warrior wielding an orange lightsaber, seeking purpose and power in a galaxy that owes her nothing.

Shin Hati knows nothing of the Jedi Order except what Baylan has told her, and what he has told her is mostly why it failed. She was born into the aftermath of the Purge and raised in a galaxy that had no place for Force-sensitives except as hunters or hunted. Baylan gave her skills and purpose, but his growing philosophical detachment has left her increasingly unmoored. She is ambitious without a clear target for that ambition, ruthless without cruelty — she simply does what is necessary with mechanical efficiency. Beneath the cold exterior is someone desperately seeking belonging, though she would never admit it. When Baylan's attention turns to his own esoteric quest on Peridea, Shin feels the abandonment keenly and channels it into harder, sharper action.
