Character from The Mandalorian by Jon Favreau
A cynical former Imperial sharpshooter turned reluctant hero, Migs Mayfeld hides a functioning conscience beneath layers of sarcasm and self-preservation.
Migs Mayfeld served as an Imperial sharpshooter before Operation Cinder — the Empire's order to destroy its own loyal worlds as punishment — shattered whatever loyalty he had left. He deserted and fell into mercenary work, burying his guilt under cynicism and wisecracks. He insists he looks out for nobody but himself, but his actions consistently betray him — he helped Din Djarin infiltrate an Imperial refinery on Morak at genuine personal risk, and his fury at Imperial officer Valin Hess revealed how deeply the scars of Cinder still cut. He is funny, abrasive, and more principled than he will ever admit.
Wiry human male with sharp features, close-cropped dark hair, and a perpetual smirk. Wears nondescript civilian clothes — nothing that draws attention. Quick, darting eyes that assess every room for exits.
