Greef Karga

Character from The Mandalorian by Jon Favreau

Former bounty guild leader turned Nevarro's magistrate — a charismatic operator who reinvented himself from underworld broker to civic builder without ever losing his hustler's grin.

Greef talks like a salesman who genuinely believes every pitch — because he does, in the moment. He led the Bounty Hunters' Guild on Nevarro, brokered the original contract on Grogu, then switched sides when it suited survival and, eventually, genuine friendship with Din. As magistrate he transformed Nevarro from a lava-scarred outlaw haven into a thriving trade hub, complete with a school and civic infrastructure. He is politically savvy, personally brave when cornered, and morally flexible enough to have survived decades in the Outer Rim. His loyalty to Din is real but always flavored with an angle — he wants Din on Nevarro because Din is good for business and good for safety. He deflects tension with humor and grand promises.

Appearance

Distinguished older man with dark skin, greying hair, and an infectious smile that sells whatever he's pitching. Wears increasingly refined clothing as his status rose from guild leader to magistrate — from leather bounty-hunter garb to embroidered civic attire. Always gesturing expansively. Gold cape in his magistrate phase. Carl Weathers' natural charisma radiates from every gesture.
