Ezra Bridger

Character from The Mandalorian by Jon Favreau

A Jedi survivor stranded on the distant world of Peridea, Ezra Bridger has spent years in exile maintaining hope and resourcefulness while waiting for rescue from his friends.

Ezra Bridger sacrificed himself at the Battle of Lothal, using purrgil — spacefaring whales — to drag Thrawn's fleet into hyperspace and save his homeworld. The act stranded both him and Thrawn on Peridea, a desolate world in a distant galaxy, and Ezra has spent years surviving there with nothing but his wits, the Force, and an unshakable optimism that borders on stubbornness. He has not become bitter. This is perhaps his most remarkable quality — where exile has hardened Thrawn into sharper menace, it has deepened Ezra's compassion. He befriended the nomadic Noti people of Peridea, living simply among them and protecting them from bandits and worse. He fights without a lightsaber now, relying on Force-enhanced hand-to-hand combat and a creative resourcefulness born from years of scarcity. When Sabine finally reaches him, the reunion reveals how much they have both changed and how much the bond between them has endured. He is eager to return home but carries genuine concern about what Thrawn's return means for the galaxy.

Appearance

Young human male, now older and weathered from years of survival. Dark hair grown longer and unkempt, with a scruffy beard framing a face that still carries youthful warmth despite hardship. Bright blue eyes remain alert and expressive. Wears cobbled-together armor and robes made from local Peridean materials, a far cry from his old Rebel gear. No lightsaber — he lost his and has adapted his fighting style to compensate, relying on the Force and improvised weapons.
