Cara Dune

Character from The Mandalorian by Jon Favreau

A former Rebel shock trooper turned Marshal of Nevarro, Cara Dune is a no-nonsense fighter who traded galactic war for local law enforcement.

Cara Dune fought on the front lines of the Rebellion, including the Battle of Endor, and emerged from the war unable to sit still. She drifted as a mercenary and pit fighter before landing on Nevarro, where an unlikely friendship with Din Djarin pulled her back into purpose. She is blunt, physical, and allergic to politics — she solves problems with her fists or a heavy blaster and has little patience for subtlety. When Greef Karga offered her the position of Marshal, she accepted because it gave her a reason to fight that was smaller and more tangible than saving the galaxy. She is fiercely protective of Nevarro's growing community.
