Location from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo
The sacred gateway between ages — where Link pulled the Master Sword and was sealed for seven years, where King Rhoam revealed himself, and where time itself bends around a single altar.
The Temple of Time is where Zelda's most significant moments happen. In Ocarina of Time, Link gathers three Spiritual Stones, plays the Song of Time on the Ocarina, opens the Door of Time, and pulls the Master Sword — which seals him in the Sacred Realm for seven years while Ganondorf conquers Hyrule. The temple is the hub for switching between child and adult timelines. In BotW, King Rhoam uses the ruined temple to reveal himself and explain the Calamity. In TotK, a pristine version on the Great Sky Island connects to the game's tutorial sequence. The temple endures across eras as the place where heroes are chosen and time is bent.
In OoT: A cathedral-like interior with stained glass, the Master Sword pedestal, and the Door of Time sealed by three Spiritual Stones and the Song of Time. In BotW: Ruined stone walls open to the sky, with a Goddess Statue inside. In TotK: Further deteriorated on the Great Plateau, but appears in pristine form on the Great Sky Island.
