Location from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo
A floating island above the clouds where humanity survived after Hylia sent them skyward — home to the Knight Academy and the Loftwing riders who don't know the surface exists.
Skyloft is where Skyward Sword begins — a floating island civilization that doesn't know the surface world exists beneath the clouds. The goddess Hylia sent humanity here to protect them from Demise, and over generations, the history was forgotten. Residents ride Loftwings (giant birds bonded to their riders) and attend the Knight Academy. Link and Zelda live here. Groose bullies here. The Goddess Statue hides the Goddess Sword (proto-Master Sword) here. When Zelda falls through the clouds to the surface, Link follows — and the adventure that will define every future era of Hyrule begins.
A lush, colorful island floating above a sea of clouds. Contains the Knight Academy, a bazaar, residential areas, the Goddess Statue (which conceals the Goddess Sword), and platforms for Loftwing flight. Bright, warm, and safe — the opposite of the dangerous surface below.
