Location from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo
The Sheikah village that has sheltered heroes, elders, and secrets across every era — a peaceful settlement where ancient technology and traditional culture coexist.
Kakariko Village is always the place you go when you need information. In OoT, Impa founded it as a Sheikah settlement opened to common people. In BotW, Impa directs Link's quest from here. In TotK, Paya has taken over as chief. The village's character shifts between games — a bustling gateway town in OoT, a hidden refuge in TP, a peaceful Sheikah enclave in BotW — but it always serves the same narrative function: the safe harbor where the hero learns what needs to be done next.
Nestled in hills, surrounded by waterfalls and gardens. In BotW, a traditional Japanese-inspired village with Sheikah architecture — paper lanterns, wooden buildings, the distinctive Sheikah eye motif on everything. Impa's house sits at the village's highest point.
