The vast central plain that connects every corner of Hyrule — where Epona gallops, Guardians patrol, and the scale of the kingdom hits you for the first time.

Hyrule Field is the kingdom's connective tissue — the open space between landmarks that gives the world its sense of scale. In OoT, it was the first truly open 3D space many players experienced, with Stalchildren rising from the ground at night. In BotW, it's the region surrounding Hyrule Castle where corrupted Guardians make crossing a calculated risk. Every Zelda player has a memory of their first time in Hyrule Field — the moment the world opened up and possibilities felt infinite.

Rolling grasslands stretching from Hyrule Castle to the horizon in every direction. In OoT, a circular hub with Lon Lon Ranch at center. In BotW, one of many named sub-regions in a seamless open world. Guardians patrol the castle-adjacent areas, making early exploration tense.
