Item from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo
The item that opens the world — given by King Rhoam after the tutorial, transforming Link from a plateau prisoner into a gliding explorer of all Hyrule.
The Paraglider is BotW's most important non-combat item. Given by King Rhoam after completing the Great Plateau's four shrines, it transforms the game from a tutorial sandbox into a vast open world. Link can glide from any height, crossing valleys, descending from towers, and traversing Hyrule's vertical geography. It consumes stamina during use, creating a constant risk/reward calculation: can you reach that distant cliff before your stamina runs out? The Paraglider is the mechanical expression of BotW's core design philosophy — see something interesting, go there.
A simple fabric glider with Hyrule Royal Crest. Compact enough to carry on Link's back. Deploys instantly when Link jumps from a height.
