Item from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo
The Royal Family's sacred instrument — a blue ocarina that opens the Door of Time, controls weather, summons horses, and bends time itself when played at the right altar.
The Ocarina of Time is the key to the Sacred Realm. Combined with the three Spiritual Stones and the Song of Time, it opens the Door of Time in the Temple of Time, granting access to the Master Sword's pedestal. In Majora's Mask, it resets the three-day cycle, slows time, and fast-forwards to specific hours. Beyond its cosmic function, the ocarina is a musical instrument that Link plays throughout both games — each song serving a gameplay purpose (summoning Epona, changing weather, teleporting, opening passages). It is the franchise's most important item after the Master Sword and Triforce.
A small, elegant blue ocarina with the Triforce emblem. Simple in design but radiating ancient significance. Zelda throws it to Link from the moat as she flees Ganondorf — one of gaming's most iconic moments.
