Item from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo
An ancient artifact of pure malevolence — a mask that corrupted a lonely child into pulling the Moon from the sky, and whose three boss forms suggest the evil inside is far older than anyone knows.
Majora's Mask was used by an ancient tribe in hexing rituals before being sealed away due to its terrible power. The Happy Mask Salesman acquired it, Skull Kid stole it, and the mask's malevolence amplified the Skull Kid's abandonment grief into an apocalyptic tantrum — pulling the Moon toward Termina over three days. The mask has three boss forms: Majora's Mask (the mask itself, animated), Majora's Incarnation (a dancing, childlike horror), and Majora's Wrath (a towering humanoid whip-wielding monster). Each form suggests the entity inside is ancient, alien, and delighted by suffering.
A heart-shaped mask with large, round, yellow-orange eyes with green irises, and colorful tribal patterns in red, blue, green, and yellow. Spike-like protrusions on the sides. Its appearance is childlike and terrifying simultaneously.
