The shield of Hyrule's knights — the most durable defensive item in the franchise, bearing the Loftwing crest and the Triforce mark, capable of deflecting anything short of a divine laser.
The Hylian Shield has protected Link across nearly every game in the franchise. In Skyward Sword, it is indestructible. In BotW, it can be obtained in Hyrule Castle by defeating a Stalnox, and while it can technically break (800 durability), it lasts longer than any other shield by an enormous margin. It is the complement to the Master Sword — together, they define Link's iconic silhouette. The shield can deflect Guardian lasers with a perfect parry, block Lynel charges, and generally serve as the last line of defense between Link and death.
A blue, silver, and red shield with the Hyrule Royal Crest — a Loftwing beneath the Triforce. The design is iconic, instantly recognizable. In BotW, it has 90 defense and 800 durability — the highest in the game.
