The Fierce Deity's Mask is Majora's Mask's ultimate secret. Given to Link by the child wearing Majora's Mask on the Moon (after trading all other masks), it transforms him into the Fierce Deity — a being whose power trivializes the final boss. The Fierce Deity Sword fires energy discs that devastate Majora's forms. The mask's origin is never explained. Who or what the Fierce Deity was, why Majora had this mask, and what it means that the entity inside rivals Majora's power — these questions are deliberately unanswered. Some theories suggest the Fierce Deity is as dangerous as Majora itself.
