Character from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo
The usurper king of the Twilight Realm — a calm, imposing figure whose godlike composure crumbles into screaming tantrums the moment things go wrong.
Zant presents himself as a serene, godlike ruler behind his enormous mask — the self-proclaimed King of Twilight who speaks in measured, threatening tones and claims divine authority from his 'god' (Ganondorf). The performance is convincing until his boss fight, where the mask comes off and the real Zant emerges: screaming, flailing, throwing tantrums, stomping like a child denied a toy. His backstory earns some sympathy — he served loyally in the Twilight Realm's royal household, expected to inherit the throne, and was passed over in favor of Midna because the Twili feared his ambition. Ganondorf exploited that resentment, granting power that corrupted him completely. He cursed Midna into imp form and spread Twilight across Hyrule.
Tall, thin Twili in dark robes with a massive helmet/mask resembling a stylized chameleon tongue. Twili patterns across his body. Without the mask: reptilian features, wide eyes, the face of someone who was never as composed as he pretended.
